
James Dyson’s latest invention is a motor in a hand-held vacuum which is claimed to be the fastest motor in the world. In other words it is 10 times quicker than the engine of a Boeing 747. The DC 31 is the latest in the line of vacuums produced by the British inventor. This machine could be the first of the many products to feature the product ranging from food processors to electric cars. At 104,000 revolutions per minute, it is ten times faster than a commercial aircraft engine, five times as fast a F1 engine and more than twice faster than the most powerful drilling engines in the world.
Ok! Now that is really fast. This is entirely a different technology with only this company producing with this technology in the world. The DC31 vacuum, weigh 2.2 pounds and runs of rechargeable battery and is designed for cleaning car interiors or sweeping messy tables after meals. The digital motor which is half the weight and size of a normal one with the same power will be one sale in the hand-held vacuum next month of GBP 129 (US$ 215).
