Twitterwine

One of the oldest social aids in the human toolkit. Twitter: one of the newest social aids in the human toolkit. Now they’re harmoniously united in one place , a wine bottle. Twitter co-founder Biz Stone hooked up with the Crushpad winery to make the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which they hope will be supped at Tweet-ups around the world.

It’s not just in the name of a knees-up, though, with $5 of each $20 bottle going to third-world literacy charity Room to Read. Shame the bottles aren’t Twitter-branded Biz and Co have opted for the more austere Fledgling Wine but if they were, we’d take a case right now. There’s a video explaining the details on the YouTube video below, or just hit up the homepage at fledglingwine.com
