Text messaging in iPhone is a very simple process. However, it has some neat bonus features included within it. The best thing is that you can use very simple shortcuts in this section to facilitate some of your other actions on the phone.
For example:
- Send a message to someone you’ve texted before. Instead of going through the usual process, simply find their name in your message list, tap that, enter your message and hit send.
- Call someone you’ve texted. Move easily between these functions by going to the person’s text message, scrolling up to the top and hitting “call”.
- Email someone you’ve texted. Similarly, go to the text message, scroll to the top, tap “contact information” and choose their email address to compose your message to them.
- Use the links in your email. Phone numbers, email address, maps and web pages are all linked to in your texts. Go straight to those links to call, email, see maps and review web pages without further steps.
These are all little things but they save time day after day.
