Admittedly, the HTC HD2 is late in coming to the US, but those who were patient enough to wait for this behemoth touchscreen phone to become in the country will be happy to know that they’ll be rewarded with a better featured version. The typical HTC HD2 comes with 512MB ROM, 448MB RAM and ships with a 2GB microSD card. The T-Mobile USA-bound HTC HD2, on the other hand, boasts of 1GB ROM, 576MB RAM and includes a massive 16GB mircoSD card helping make this 4.3-inch monster touchscreen phone even more mouthwatering for the public.

With the added boost in specs and rumors that Microsoft might be launching Windows Mobile 7 next month at MWC, there’s also speculation that the HTC HD2 could debut in the US this spring with Windows Mobile 7 on-board as well. If this happens, then the HTC HD2 NAM version will surely be head and shoulders above the rest of the pack.
